Prevent blockages
Many types of waste do not belong in the sewer but in residual waste. Such as sanitary pads and cat litter pellets. Wrong waste in the sewer can lead to blockages.
Things you'd better not flush down your toilet or flush down your sink:
- cat litter and garden waste
- sanitary towels and tampons
- damp (thicker) toilet or cleaning tissues
- (deep-frying) fat, both liquid and non-liquid
- (motor) oil, chemical and paint products
- asphalt, cement, sand, plaster, latex and other construction waste
- food waste
- medicines
- articles of clothing
