I received 2 assessments for the same year. How can that be?
If you are a homeowner you might receive 2 assessments for the same year.
You can receive:
- Assessment for the water system charge for buildings (‘watersysteemheffing gebouwd’)
- Assessment for the water system charge for residents (‘watersysteemheffing ingezetenen’) and the water treatment charge (‘zuiveringsheffing’)
So, you are not paying the same assessment twice, but you are paying for two different types (components) of water authority tax.
