* ve is a pollution unit. People who live alone pay for 1 ve. Households with more than 1 resident pay for 3 ve.

Do you live alone? Than you must pay a water treatment charge of 1 pollution unit. You must also pay the water system charge for residents.
For 2024 you pay more or less 63 euro per year more:

- Water treatment charge: € 91,65

2. You are a tenant and you live together
Do you live with 2 or more people? Than you pay a water treatment charge for 3 pollution units. Even when your household consists of just 2 people (read why). You must also pay the water system charge for residents.
For 2024 you pay more or less 121 euro per year more:
- Resident water system charge: € 170,30
- Water treatment charge: € 274,95
Total: € 445,25 (was € 323,59)
3. You live alone and you own your home
Do you live alone? Than you must pay a water treatment charge of 1 pollution unit. You must also pay the water system charge for residents. And as a home owner, you must also pay the water system charge for buildings. In this example the WOZ value of your home is 418,000 euros.
For 2024 you pay more or less 121 euro per year more:
- Resident water system charge: € 170,30
- Water system charge for buildings: € 63,87
- Water treatment charge: € 91,65
Total: € 325,82 (was € 251,19)
4. You have a family with 2 children and you own your home
Do you live with 2 or more people? Than you pay a water treatment charge for 3 pollution units. Even when your household consists of just 2 people (read why) You must also pay the water system charge for residents. And as a home owner, you must also pay the water system charge for buildings. In this example the WOZ value of your home is 418,000 euros.
For 2024 you pay more or less 133 euro per year more:
