Report a security problem
Waternet does everything it can to protect your data and our system. Unfortunately, there may be weaknesses in our security that we are not yet aware of. Have you found a security problem? Please let us know.
What can you do?
- Report the problem as soon as possible using the form on this page.
- Provide as much information as possible, such as IP addresses, log files and the septs we can follow to reproduce the problem.
- Do not take advantage of the security breach. If you do, we will file a police report.
- Do not share the security breach with others or post it online.
The rules are based on the guidlines from the National Cyber Security Centre (NSCS), part of the Ministry of Justice and Security.
What will we do with your report?
After your report:
- We will investigate the problem as soon as possible.
- We will contact you.
- We will clearly agree on what happens if the issue is made public.
