My direct debit payment for tap water has failed. What should I do?
Was the direct debit payment of your tap water costs unsuccessful? Because there wasn't enough money in your account? Read what will happen then.
If we cannot debit the amount from your bank account, we will send you a letter or email with the bill. In this letter we ask you to pay the amount due. The direct debit will continue. We will try and debit the next instalment like usual.

In this case, we will stop the direct debit. From then on, you will have to pay manually again. We will also send you a reminder of the outstanding amount by post or email .
