Late payment of tap water bill
Is your tap water bill overdue? Of course, that can happen to anyone. Find out what you should do to prevent extra charges.
Please pay your bill within 14 days. This may concern the monthly or quarterly bill or the annual statement. You can pay your bill online via My Waternet.
Tip: you also have the option to pay the instalments via Direct Debit. You can change your payment preference via My Waternet. The amount will then automatically be deducted from your bank account. This way, your payments are always made on time.
Is your tap water bill overdue? Then you will receive a payment reminder. No additional charges will apply. Please pay the payment reminder within 15 days.
Second payment reminder
Have you also missed the first payment reminder? Then you will receive a second payment reminder. Please pay the second payment reminder within 14 days. Including the late fee of 10 euros.
Collection agency
Have you also missed the second payment reminder? Within 14 days we will pass the bill on to a collection agency. You will have to pay an additional 10 euros, bringing the extra costs to 20 euros in total.
