Choose your payment method

You can choose how to pay your bill in My Waternet. Payment in instalments is easily arranged with a direct debit, where we deduct the amount from your bank account. This ensures that you always pay on time. How easy!

Pay tap water in instalments

You can pay for your tap water through direct debit in 2 ways.

  • Per month. You can set this up in My Waternet.
  • Per 3 months. You can arrange this by contacting our customer service team.

Pay taxes in instalments

Every year you will receive an assessment for water authority tax. You can pay this assessment using direct debit. You can chose how often you pay: between 1 and 8 equal instalments.

  • Note: did you receive an assessment and would you like to pay in instalments? Choose for direct debit within 4 weeks after the date of the assessment. If you wait too long, your changes will only take effect with next year's assessment.

Pay with iDEAL

Do you prefer to pay in one go, at a time that is most convenient to you? This can be done quickly and securely using iDEAL.

Manual bank transfer

You can also transfer the amount manually. Make sure you use the correct bank account number, as Waternet has separate accounts for water authority tax and tap water.

  • Waternet uses separate bank account numbers for tap water and water authority tax.
  • Remember to use the payment reference on your bill or assessment!
